IO Blocks by Guide CraftWe were fortunate enough to be selected to review these blocks via @Tryazon! These blocks are great STEM toys for children! My 3 year old loved playing with them just as much as we adults did!

We received the 500 piece set that included the tote of blocks and 20 double sided creativity cards with examples of what you can build and they even list what blocks you would need to create the design.

These blocks come with a really cool augmented reality app (free on iTunes and google play) that can be used with the tracker card to help you to see how each design is made! We found it easier if one person held the phone over the card and another person built the project, otherwise the app would stop if you removed it from the tracker card and you would have to start all over.

We were able to build so many cool projects! From animals to robots!
The plastic is very smooth and doesn't have sharp corners like usual blocks and bonus, they don't hurt like Legos if you step on one!

I really enjoyed watching my 3 year old use these blocks to exercise her fine motor skills and learning spatial concepts!

If you know me, you know that I really LOVE all things organization and firmly believe that every item has its place. This can't be more true when it comes to all the stuff my toddler demands on taking on car rides. Whether it is a multi-state road trip or a simple 5 minute drive to the grocery store, Little Miss has to take a million toys with us or she is non-compliant and it's a nightmare.

It's moments like this that I had always wished for some type of car organizer to store all her go-to toys to lessen the stress. I was never able to find one that I felt could hold up to the demands of my mini monster and had enough pockets/pouches for all her infinite trinkets. 
I am very impressed with this organizer by Fancy Mobility. I really love the blue accent as well (matches my car :) )

It has a total of 16 pockets/pouches and a clipped holder that is great for holding a small bag for trash! 
The top row of the organizer has a single large pocket with a Velcro close lid flap, this is where we keep snacks!
The second row has 2 pockets (each half the size of the first row pocket) and sewn to the front of each of these pockets are 4 mesh pouches that are great for pens, crayons, little candies and charger cords. (8 total in row 2) In the pockets of row 2 we keep  a pair of over the ear headphones and some DVD's for long trips.
The bottom row has another long pocket the width of the organizer with 2 mesh pockets across the front and a mesh cup holder on each side! This is where we keep the portable DVD player with its car charger, a pad of paper for coloring and bottled water in the cup holders.

The installation was super easy, it literally took 2 minutes. There are 2 3-prong buckles like what you would find in the kid seat of a grocery cart. One goes around the bars at the headrest and the other is at the bottom, it goes around the front seat and is low enough that it can slide right into the crack at the base of the seat and you'd never feel it. They hold the organizer to the seat very well and surprisingly keep it from sagging even with 10+ pounds of stuff in the pockets!

Onto the visor organizer! Installation is insanely simple.. it has 2 elastic straps that slide over your existing visor.. wallah! Done! :D It is a little taller than my visor in my car so it doesn't quite fit but it would fit in a standard size car (my car is really tiny) There are 2 elastic spots on the visor that can be used to hold pens, but I use one to hold my sunglasses (slip the arm of my glasses through the loop and bam! sunglasses holder :) There is also a small mesh pouch in the corner that you can hold your toll booth ticket in. On the right side of the organizer are 2 mesh pockets that go the length of the visor. These are great for storing your vehicle registration and insurance as well as notes, mail, etc.

I think the best part is that these come with a LIFETIME warranty!

REVIEW Double Camping Hammock Live Infinitely

This is an AMAZING hammock. Very well made with high quality materials. Triple stitched seams and weather resistant nylon!

Of course the first thing we wanted to do was determine how easy it would be for one person to set it up, we found two trees about 9 feet apart and I got to work. It was surprisingly easy to do, even being a first timer, and took less than 3.5 minutes to fully set up!

Once we were able to get in it, it was like instant nap time! 

First I got in it to test the strength (125#) then in came my 3 year old daughter (25#) lastly my husband (240#) and it showed no resistance. We were successfully able to fit all three of us (390#) and still be confident that it would last. We all three enjoyed it for about a half hour then it was time to get out or we would be falling  asleep soon!

While it was just my daughter and I the sides kind of wrapped around the top of us like a pea pod, which was nice, buttons would be a great addition :) Super easy to take down and put away.
Light enough that my 3 year old can carry it around (which she does...everywhere!)

*REVIEW* Permanent Pet Odor Eliminator Spray

I was really excited to get to try this product since it is marketed as an environmentally and pet friendly cleaner but it did not meet expectations.

We have an 8 year old dog that sometimes can't make it outside in time so she has accidents on the carpet. The smell was noticeable and we were seeing stains too. We used this product as directed FOUR times on one 3" spot on the carpet and the stain and smell are still there! I ended up using some pet stain remover that came from Bissel in my shampooer and the stain is mostly gone now. It doesn't look as though everyone had the same results, as their Amazon listing has mixed reviews but I think it really depends on the age of your carpet. We have no idea how long this carpet has been in our current house (we've rented for 2.5 years) as it was here before we moved in (and not in the best condition at that time either).

I really appreciate the idea behind this product and would love to be able to say it worked for me but it just didn't. I did like that it didn't have a heavy chemical smell to the spray itself. If they reformulated and made a working product I would try it again.

Pink Imperial Crown Dust Plug

 This is the cutest little dust plug (aka ear jack cap) that I have ever seen! :) I absolutely love the way it makes my phone look so fancy :) The hardest part of having one is keeping Little Miss from stealing it! LOL

If you've never heard of a dust plug you're probably looking at the screen like "wtf". But I'm telling you they are so cool and aside from the obvious function (keeping the hole free of lint, debris, etc) they are also a great way to accessorize your phone!

The main function of a dust plug is to keep the headphone jack free of debris. I can't tell you how many times I have had to use a sewing pin to get pocket lint or a little piece of paper out of the hole! It's especially useful if you let your phone "roam free" in your purse! No worrying about sand or random broken whatevers floating at the bottom of your bag getting stuck in that hole!

On to more about this specific plug, it seems to be a plastic form that is coated in gold paint with some rhinestones glued on. It is pretty cheaply made (and priced) so the crown got a little smashed in the mail. It did come with all stones in place though, so that it a plus. I do feel that it is a little too flimsy for me to want it in my phone all the time. The shaft that goes into the phone jack is a soft rubbery plastic and it feels a little flimsy, I am worried that it will break off in the hole.

Overall, it is a decent little plug if you want something to accessorize your phone and show a bit of your personality :)

Jola Case Test and Review

I am always dropping my phone, to be honest, I'm very hard on my devices all around. So good, durable cases are an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY in my life! Otter boxes are just too expensive though and they don't have a very good warranty if they do break (trust me-they can!)

That is why I was SO happy when I got to test the Jola Case for my Samsung Galaxy S5! On the price scale it is WAY more affordable than other heavy duty cases on the market. Yet it is still very cool looking-it even comes in 6 different colors (black, green, white, orange, blue and red). It would totally be feasible to get one to match every outfit :D

The corners of the case have a rubber padding to help protect your phone if dropped and the front has a lip around it so it is not flush with your screen-which definitely reduces the risk of getting cracks and nicks on your screen!

I can not tell you how excited I was to get this review! I have been dying to get a mandoline slicer for ages!!!! They are just sooo expensive! This model here goes for $59.99 on Amazon (link to purchase at bottom) Okay, so let's get started!!

First off I love the box, not too small, not too big. Sturdy and great quality.

It was snack time so we got started right away with an apple! My daughter loves apples! We decided to use the 3.5mm slice blade to get started, we didn't want them too thin.



The finger guard perfectly fits an apple! It slices so easy you'd think that it was butter! The plunger on the top of the finger guard helps to ensure you slice the whole apple and not your fingers :)
 

  As you can see, Little Miss thoroughly enjoys it! 

Next we wanted to try the juliene blades, we were making  fajitas for supper that night so it worked perfectly to cut up our onion and green pepper. AMAZING! I dread cutting onions-most people do- I've tried all the tricks, use a super sharp knife, put a match stick between your lips, etc. Nothing helped with the tears, until I used this! Not a single tear!

There's more to love! Cleanup is a breeze! Just take the blade off and wash! No tiny nooks or crannies for food to get stuck in! Very light weight and has silicone feet so it doesn't slide on the counter top. I lay mine across a mixing bowl so I don't make a huge mess.
